Steven, we understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and bombarded by the sheer number and pace of challenges coming your way. It may often cause us to turn from being overwhelmed to prayers for deliverance without considering God's greater purpose first. It is our purpose to be fully dependant on God to help deliver us from these burdens and help God direct our path for his purpose as we are not fully able to understand or see his purpose in what is happening. For it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, it is only by the name of Jesus of which we can be saved.
First, with the teaching in Matthew 11:25-30 in mind, we need to remember that the only way to peace is through Jesus. We should never forget that God is sovereign, and He often allows us to go through difficult situations. But they are often for a reason that we must trust as being just:
At that time, Jesus answered, "I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you hid these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for so it was well-pleasing in your sight. All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows the Son, except the Father; neither does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and he to whom the Son desires to reveal him. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light
By outwardly praise Him in the troubled times and waiting on Him patiently, we truly have faith with dependence solely on God. Let's remember His promises:
Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing James 1:2-4.
Even though it is easier said than done, Steven you will find that, if in faith, you will improve. For it should be encouraging to us that God has a perfect plan for our lives, as is stated in Jeremiah 29:11. For you don't need to understand. It is something to be believed and known. Stay strong, He is merciful and will not leave you.
Let's pray for you,
By faith we pray for God to remember the plan He has for Steven, the future full of the hope He so perfectly knows. Also pray for it to be revealed to Steven if it is His will. In Jesus name Our Heavenly Father, we beg you to Order Stevens steps and assist him to do what you want and need to be done. When overwhelmed help him remember to praise You willingly! In Jesus mighty name we pray that he will remember to wait on You and patiently bare the huge trials of his heart You only know fully Lord Jesus Christ.
