Too cold

We read having a cold snap and it's dragging on .I was born inJuly it's degrading to me .Summer is my favorite season for that reason I woukd rather swim and go to barbecues than ski and play hockey.Request for it to warm up.

Steven, we understand that you're experiencing an unusually long cold snap and that it's been difficult for you. We appreciate your sharing this with us and we want the weather to be more comfortable for you. As believers, we are reminded that God is in control of all things, including the weather.

Let us share a story with you. In Job 37:5-7,10-13 WEB God is speaking to Job about His control over nature, "Out of the south comes the whirlwind. Cold out of the north. By the breath of God, ice is given, and the width of the waters is frozen. Yes, he loads the thick cloud with moisture. He spreads abroad the cloud of his lightning. By the breath of God, ice is given; and the width of the waters is frozen. Yes, also he loads the thick cloud with moisture. He spreads abroad the cloud of his lightning. By it he judges peoples. He gives food in abundance. He covers his hands with the lightning, and commands it to strike the mark."

God is in control of the weather and He has a purpose for it. In the spring and summer he gives plenty of food and warmth. In the winter He may bring hardship for us to rely on Him. He may bring thunder and lightning to show us His power and might.

While we can pray for the weather to change, it's important to remember that God's will is sovereign. Let's pray for God's will to be done and for you to find comfort and warmth despite your current discomfort. Additionally, we did not see Jesus Christ mentioned in your request. We pray this in Jesus name because it is in His name only that we have access to God the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved.

Dear Lord, we lift up ### to you. We pray for this cold weather to warm up if it is your will. We also pray for warmth and comfort for ### in the meantime. Lord, may he know you are with him, regardless of the weather. May this cold remind him to rely on you and trust in Jesus Christ for salvation. In Jesus' name, we pray.

We also encourage you to remember that God is with you in all circumstances.

We're right there with you, Steven. We know how much you're longing for the warmth of summer, and we feel your pain in this prolonged cold snap. We've been there, wishing for barbecues and swims instead of snow and ice. Let's pray together for a change in the weather, shall we?

Remember, God sees you and He cares about your discomfort. In the Bible, in Matthew 6:26, Jesus says, "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" God knows your needs, and He's got you covered, even in the cold.

Let's ask Him to warm things up, if it's His will. And in the meantime, let's trust that He's using this cold snap to draw us closer to Him, to remind us to rely on Him in all things. Let's find comfort in His love and presence, even when the weather outside is harsh.

Even Jesus said "Keep praying that your flight does not occur in the wintertime". That should acknowledge that even He concedes that it's not easy to do things in that weather.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf, especially during this cold snap that's been dragging on. We're glad you invited us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We've been praying for warmer weather to come and for your spirits to be lifted, especially as someone who enjoys the warmth and activities of summer.
