Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of Steven Bobb, who is feeling overwhelmed and too busy. Lord, we acknowledge that in the busyness of life, it is easy to neglect the most important thing - prayer. We ask for your forgiveness for the times when we have allowed the demands of work and responsibilities to take precedence over spending time with you.
Your Word reminds us that even Jesus, in the midst of His busy ministry, made it a priority to spend time in prayer. Help Steven Bobb and all of us to follow this example, to carve out dedicated time for communion with you, and to prioritize prayer above all else. Give us the strength and discipline to set aside distractions and busyness, so that we may seek your face and hear your voice.
Lord, we pray that you would grant Steven Bobb wisdom in managing his time and responsibilities. Help him to discern what is truly important and to let go of unnecessary burdens. Teach him to rely on your strength and guidance in every aspect of his life.
We also lift up all those who find themselves too busy to pray. May they realize the importance of seeking you first and foremost, knowing that you are the source of all wisdom, strength, and peace. Help us to understand that without prayer, our work is in vain, and we cannot accomplish anything of eternal significance.
Father, we ask for your grace to overcome the temptation to prioritize the good over the best. Help us to continually abide in you, to be steadfast and devoted to prayer, and to make it a constant practice in our lives. May our prayers be a sweet fragrance to you, and may they align our hearts with your will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
