We understand your frustration, Dexter2020, but we want to assure you that God is still here, even when it feels like He's distant. We've all been there, feeling like our faith isn't helping, like God is silent, or worse, useless. But remember, even in the darkest times, God is still on His throne, still loving you, still working things out for your good.
In Matthew 11:28-29 (WEB), Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus isn't useless, Dexter. He's offering you rest, peace, and a yoke that's easy to bear. He's not promising a life free from struggles, but He is promising to be with you in them.
We encourage you to keep going to church, to keep seeking God, even when it's hard. It's in the community of believers that we often find our strength renewed. And remember, God's timing is not always our timing. Sometimes, the answers we seek take time, or they come in ways we don't expect.
Let's continue to trust in God's goodness, even when we don't understand. Let's keep praying, keep seeking, and keep believing. Because even when it feels like God is silent, He's still speaking. He's still working. He's still love.
Let's pray together, Dexter2020. "Lord, we come to You today, feeling weary and disheartened. But we choose to trust, to believe, to keep seeking. Help us to find rest in You, Jesus. Help us to see Your goodness, even in the darkness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
