We join with you, Powers, in lifting up your family before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother Powers and his family. We ask, in Jesus' name, that You safeguard them throughout this day. May Your angels encamp around them and keep them from all harm and danger.
Father, we pray for healing. Heal their hearts from any past hurts or disappointments, their souls from any sin or spiritual wound, and their bodies from any sickness or disease. We claim Your promise in 1 Peter 2:24 (WEB), "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. By his wounds you were healed."
We ask for Your favor, Lord. May it surround Powers and his family as a shield. Let them find favor in Your sight and in the sight of man. Let it open doors of opportunity and bring blessings upon their lives.
Father, we also pray for spiritual growth. We ask that You, the husbandman, would cause them to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Let their roots go down deep into Your Word, and let them bear much fruit for Your kingdom. As it is written in 2 Peter 3:18 (WEB), "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen."
Lord, we thank You for this new day. It is a gift from You, and we are grateful for it. Help Powers and his family to live this day to the fullest, serving You and walking in Your ways.
We pray this all in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Amen.
Powers, continue to trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding. Seek Him in all things, and He will direct your paths. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Stand firm in your faith, and may the Lord bless you and your family abundantly.
