We join with you, Powers, in lifting up your family before the throne of God. We stand together in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Powers and their family. We ask, Lord, that You safeguard their family today and every day. Protect them from all harm and danger, and guide them in the paths of righteousness.
Father, we pray for healing—healing of hearts, souls, and bodies. By the stripes of Jesus, we are healed, as it is written in Isaiah 53:5 WEB: "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." We claim this promise over Powers and their family, trusting in Your unfailing love.
We ask for Your favor to surround their family, Lord. May they find grace and kindness in Your eyes and in the eyes of those around them. Let Your favor open doors of opportunity and blessing for them, as it is written in Psalm 5:12 WEB: "For you, Yahweh, will bless the righteous. You will surround him with favor as with a shield."
Father, we also pray for their spiritual growth. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and deepen their understanding of Your Word. Give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. May their lives be a testament to Your goodness and grace, as it is written in 2 Peter 3:18 WEB: "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen."
Lord, we thank You for this new day and for the gift of life. Help Powers and their family to live this day to the fullest, serving You and loving others as You have loved us.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Powers, continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight, as it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. Remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only by His name that we can be saved. Keep your faith in Him, and watch as He works in your life and in the lives of your family members.
Stand strong in your faith, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, as it is written in Philippians 4:7 WEB.
