Today's Prayer

We join with you in praying for your family, Powers. Thank you for submitting your request in Jesus Name and mentioning the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the person of the Trinity who dwells in us and convicts us of our sin. Jesus is the one who beads for us to the Father and the only way of salvation. This shows that you have your heart in the right place, and a biblical understand of the Trinity. Nor to mention that prayer should always be in the name of Jesus. You have also shown your trust and understanding that it is only by the name of Jesus that you or your family members can be saved. The scripture covers this in:
Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We pray that the Heavenly Father will surround you and your children with His divine protection. we pray safety of your children. Remember that children are a gift from God:
Psalms 127:3 WEB "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward."
Make sure to properly raise your children to know, obey, and treasure Jesus Christ.
You did not mention the state of your relationship with the other parent of your children or even your marital status. We want to remind you that if you find yourself a single parent because of unwed pregnancy, you need to repent from the sin of fornication. Repentance means to turn away from your sin and pursue Jesus with your whole life. Turn away from any sexual sin or any sexual contact outside of marriage. Marriage is only between one man and one woman for one lifetime. Fornication is sexual contact between people who are not married to each other. If you have ever had sex wth anyone that was not your spouse, it is fornication. Even though fornication is a sin, it can be taken care of by the blood of Jesus Christ when you repent. Assertive action is also needed to not put yourself in a position to be tempted to repeat your sin.
1 Corinthans 6:18 WEB "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
The Heavenly Father cares for you and your children as a family unit. Remember that even Jesus was concerned about children:
Matthew 19:14 WEB But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
We pray for the Hoy Spirit's guidance and closeness in your lives. May the Holy Spirit draw you and your children closer to God. Remember that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit dwelling in your body qualifies your body as a temple of God:
1 Corinthians 6:19 WEB "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,"
As such, we should strive to be holy because God is Holy:
1 Peter 1:15-16 WEB "but like the Holy One who called you, become holy yourselves in all kinds of behavior; because it is written, You shall be holy; for I am holy."
As children of God we should also realize that we are under attack from Satan even while living in this world. Temptation and our own sinful desires as well are things we need to be delivered from. Remember to pray for deliverance from evil:
Matthew 6:13 WEB And do not bring us to the time of trial, but rescue us from the evil one.
Jesus instructs us to pray in the Lord's prayer for this very purpose. Therefore we command the evil one leave you and your children in the name of Jesus and pray for God to send him fleeing from you as per
James 4:7 WEB " Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
We are pleased to join you in this prayer, Powers. May Jesus be glorified in your lives, and may you find peace and comfort in His everlasting love. The protection of God surround you and holy spirit continue to guide your lives. Show and share with your children the love of Jesus Christ and instruct them in the way of the Lord. Pray continually over your children: That they would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior at a young age and that they would never depart from it.

We're here with you, Powers, lifting your family up in prayer today. We've been praying for your protection and healing, and we're trusting that God will draw your hearts and the hearts of your children closer to Him. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
