We understand your heart's cry for protection and growth in Christ, Powers. Let us come together in prayer and reflection on God's word.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of praying in Jesus' name (John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."). It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Powers and their children. We ask for Your divine protection and healing over their lives. Guard them from the evil one, just as You promised in 2 Thessalonians 3:3, 'But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.'
Lord, we also pray for their spiritual growth. Help them to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). Strengthen their faith and help them to walk in Your ways, obeying Your commandments.
We also pray for the silent request, Lord. You know the deepest desires and needs of our hearts, even when they are left unspoken. We trust that You will work all things together for good, according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Powers, to continue to trust in the Lord and His promises. Remember, God is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). Stay strong in your faith and continue to seek God's will in all areas of your life. If there are any specific sins or areas where you are struggling, do not hesitate to bring them before God, seeking His forgiveness and help. As 1 John 1:9 tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
