We commend you, Saraha, for your civic-mindedness and for encouraging others to exercise their right to vote. It is indeed important to engage in our communities and nations, as we are instructed in Romans 13:1-2, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment."
As we engage in the voting process, let us pray for discernment and wisdom, that we may vote for candidates who uphold biblical values and principles. As it is written in Proverbs 29:2, "When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan."
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You today, asking for Your guidance and wisdom as we prepare to vote. Help us to choose leaders who will uphold righteousness and justice, who will seek Your will in their decisions. Protect the candidates from harm, and let Your will be done in our nations. We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
We also commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us not forget to pray for our leaders, regardless of our personal preferences, as instructed in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
May God bless our nations, and may His will be done.
