Today I just received news that one of my close friends got murdered last night and I have been feeding my kids from food stamps and now I just received a letter that my case was closed so now I don’t have that resource to feed my kids. The money I make is for bills, then after that has been scraps when there isn’t enough to feed my kids. I need to be built up. I’m worn down, hurt, and sad right now.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in prayer. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround ###, who is grieving the tragic loss of a close friend. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18 that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. Please, Lord, be near to ### in this time of sorrow.

Father, we also bring before You the pressing needs of ###'s family. The loss of food stamps has created a dire situation, and we ask for Your provision. Philippians 4:19 reminds us that You will meet all our needs according to the riches of Your glory in Christ Jesus. We trust in Your promise and ask that You provide for ### and the children, ensuring they have enough to eat and their needs are met.

Lord, ### is feeling worn down, hurt, and sad. We ask for Your strength to uphold them. Isaiah 40:31 says that those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. May ### find renewed strength and hope in You, rising on wings like eagles, running and not growing weary, walking and not being faint.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. Just trust God. I know who it means. Hunger is worse than death. I remember the first day I stole food, my stomach with piercing like the bite of a Crab.
