Today, I could not hug my son because I was so angry at him for having a accident and demolishing the car. I realized how wrong I was because he felt really bad. He has been in trouble so much that I feel that I am at my end, and I know that he does not like the way that he is - We need help. I honestly don't know what to pray for - but I know that we need help.

Our children will test us as well be tested in life as we are. My heart truly goes out to you and I am praying for restoration of the bond between you and your son and for the Lord to direct him toward another path than the one he is now on. We do get angry when our children make mistakes or create problems for us yet with a loving hand, a guiding hand we can continue to pray and say the things they need as our children to hear from us. Praise God he was not hurt, Praise God that this can & will be resolved - I would pray for defined peace in the way of the Lord and for your son to realize that life is short and to not take chances with his own again. Father let your healing presence permeate every room in that house. I pray that you would give this parent favor with this car situation. Father you are a God of miracles. There is absolutely nothing you cannot do. Father I give you praise. That this young man walked away without serious injury. Father although we are flawed and blow it all the time. You love and forgive us in spite of it all. Father I pray by your Holy Spirit. That this parent will give their son. This much-needed hug. That will minister to both of them in very different ways. I pray they would realize. How blessed they are to have each other. In a world where so many people are alone. I am praying for the complete restoration of this precious relationship.
