My Beautiful Jesus, I stand before you Lord, I kneel before you with my heart and soul in my hands to lay them at your feet. Dear Jesus for the past fifty yers you have guided me through light and darkness, through sunshine and night. You have brushed my tears away and brought a smile to my face. You gave me Dear Lord, and I thank you for this, four beautiful children and a wife I love with all my heart. A companion and a friend you chose for me twenty six years ago. I have lived with her more than I have lived with my parents, Thank you My Lord for this precious gift. Like you she has held me through the storm, comforted me in my pain, shared my hunger and sickness and pushed me on, forwards, always forward.My children LOrd, Your children, I am nothing but their guide, they belong to you and one day , when it is their time, you will take them into your arms and show them the light that will illuminate their lives forever. Mean while Dear Jesus, they go on their way protected by Your Holiest Blood and by hordes of angels sent by you to them. I know Dear Jesus that you have a pirpose for my children in this life. I pray that you give me life to see this purpose become real.
Today I stand before your crooss, My Lord and thank your my parents and brothers and sisters. Like every family we have problems amongst us and withothers but we have stuck together and get together at least once a week to share our days and time. Thank you Jesus for my father and mother, they are both old, tired and sick but it has been your will for them to keep them around all this time and I appreciate every minute of it. You have given them the patience and the love to deal with me and my things, acceptng me how I am, forgiving me so many times for my mistakes Dear Jesus, this can only come from your hands.
Dear Jesus today when I reach fifty years old, tired, sick and with not much hope of change in the future. I look bacvk and thank you Dear Jesus for all the light you have shed into my life, for all the love you haver allowed me to feel, for all the happiness and sorrow that I have seen and felt. Dear Lord I thank you for all the people you allowed me to meert, drug dealers. junkies, thieves, prostitutes, drunks, Ministers of governments, embassadors, Presidents of several countries, peasants, taxi drivers, all of them Lord had something to teach me that came from you. Many of them are dead my Lord, others are missing, I am here, relatively healthy, full of life and hope in the future. It is your hand that has protected me and made it possible for me to see this day. All logic says that I should have been dead many years ago, either from drug or alcohol abuse or from a bullet or sickness, I am not, YOU HAVE KEPT ME HERE FOR SOME REASON MY LORD JESUS.
I have walked away from you many times before, I have been cold, luke warm, warm and hot but I believe that neither of any of those was good. I believe that today when I stand before you, an adult finally, a man who has been once or twice around the block and has had so many experiences about good, bad, evil and miracles, my eyes open to the reason why you have kept me alive and sane all this time. Dear Lord I believe that you want me to bare witness to your mercy, to your love, to your ability to protect us from any and all danger, Dear Lord you want me to speak to the world about what my life has been and what you have made it.Through the years, slowly but constantly you have guided me the way you wanted me to go. Many times I strayed, but you found a way to bring me back, you know that now I am here to stay and that there is nothing more that can make me change my ways and love for you.
You have not given me Dear Jesus the gift of speaking much to people, in fact I dont speak much or voice my opinion too often.Dear Lord in all your wisdom you have made me a writer. I make a living writing articles but I have never written about You or me, maybe this is what you want me to do, maybe not. It does not matter this morning in chruch I told you and I repeat, LEAD THE WAY MY LORD, I WILL FOLLOW WITHOUT FAULT OR DOUBT BECAUSE YOU ARE MY LORD AND SAVIOR AND WITH YOU I SHALL NOT FEAR THE DARKNESS OR THE FUTURE. Thank you my Beautiful Jesus for the prayers I have received from all this time I have been away from this, your website from my friends , Silentangel, Singlemom, JJ,guys, I love you to and you have been in my prayers all this time too. For it was you and My Lord who stood above and besides me wthrough terrible times last year, when I did not have enough to feed my family or even put gas in my car. You my friends kept the fire burning and the hope strong. It was your prayers that picked me up when I felt like giving up and surrendering, it was your prayers and the knowledege THAT I AM A PRAYER WARRIOR AND AS SUCH CANNOT AND WILL NOT BE DEFEATED EVER, BECAUSE THE POWER OF GOD RIDES WITH ME AND ALL OF YOU, MY FELLOW BELOVED WARRIORS.
THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND PRAYERS DURING HARD DARK TIMES, I LOVE YOU AND WILL BE THINKING ABOUT YOU THIS AFTERNOON IN CHRUCH WHEN I CELEBRATE AND THANK THE LORD FOR THE FIFTY YEARS OF LIFE HE HAS GIVEN ME. REMEBER, JEUS, IN YOU WE TRUST!!!!!
