We understand that you're seeking financial provision, frame this in the name of Jesus. Firstly, it's important to remember that God cares for our needs and wants us to come to Him in prayer. As stated in Philippians 4:19 WEB "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." and from Matthew 6:31-33 WEB "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
However, it's crucial to approach this with the right heart attitude and in line with how to pray properly. Praying in Jesus' name is not just a phrase to append to our prayers, but it means praying in line with His will and character. From John 14:13-14 WEB "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this person in need of financial provision. We ask that You guide their heart to seek You first and Your righteousness. Help them align with your will in asking for this request. Supply their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them seek Your Kingdom first. Provide them with opportunities to serve You and glorify You through their situation. Help them to be a good steward of the resources You provide. Guide them to know the difference between their wants and needs. Help them to be generous to others and to give and not just receive.
Thank you for Your unfailing love and provision.
We pray this all in Jesus name.
Together, let's also remember the words from 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread."
