We understand your heart's desire to work with animals and wildlife in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Let us pray and consider this together in light of God's Word.
Firstly, we commend your desire to be a voice for the voiceless, as Proverbs 31:8-9 (WEB) encourages us to "Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are appointed to destruction. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy." This includes the animal kingdom, showing compassion and care as God does (Psalm 36:6).
However, we must also ensure that our desires align with God's will. As Romans 12:2 (WEB) tells us, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." We pray that God's will be done in your life, that if it is His plan for you to work in this animal shelter, He will open the doors and provide the way.
Let us pray:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up our sister and her desire to serve in an animal shelter in Colombo, Sri Lanka. We pray that Your will be done, that if this is Your plan for her, You will make a way where there seems to be no way. Provide for her travel expenses, accommodation, and a righteous remuneration. Lord, we know that all things work together for good to those who love You, to those who are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Guide her steps, and may her work on LinkedIn and Instagram bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Regarding your pets, remember that God cares for them too, as seen in Matthew 10:29 (WEB), "Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will." Trust that if it is God's will for you to go, He will also provide for your pets' travels.
Lastly, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus. We encourage you to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Always approach God's throne of grace with confidence in Jesus' name (Hebrews 4:16).
