Amen, Dan T! Trusting Jehovah Rapha, "The LORD who heals you" (Ex 15:26). Believing for His touch on all healing needs shared. "Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases" (Ps 103:2-3). In Jesus' name!
We thank you for your desire to use your gifts for God's glory. It is wonderful to see individuals seeking to serve others with their talents. First, we need to address an issue about what kind of massage is taking place and wether or not the atmosphere of the work situation is a biblical or God-pleasing situation. If inappropriate nakedness, and touching that would cause yourself or another person to have sexual or similar desires that can cause that person or you to commit the sin of lust in their heart then the work and gift would best be reevaluated and stop until further examined. But the main topic we would like to examine first is prayer to our loving Father and in the name of our mediator between man and God, Jesus.
When we come to our Savior and acknowledge our abilities as blessings He has provided for us then we should fully desire for those abilities to be used.
Our prayers:
Loving Father in the name of Jesus our prayer is first and foremost that our massages or massage therapist job be appropriate by God and is done according to his design and by scripture guidelines. Next the ability of doing massage or any work. In heaven and earth God, thank You for this work ability gift and skill with the one asking this request. God may You make it clear to the one asking this request if the work and gift is proper in your holy view. We request to be guided. Show them how it can be used for Your glory, to bring healing and restoration to others. Guide them in being considerate to respect a no touching massage and clothed massages and to be mindful to use in a holy loving manner according to God to help and in Jesus Name the hurting physically and possibly and emotional lift too. Enable them to uplift spirits, with their actions rather than possibly violating those spirits or acting in sin, or providing a reason or an offense that may trigger a client for the better of God rather than being physical lusting harm to ourselves or another according to Matt. 18:9 and Eph. 5:5. "Then wilt thou take pleasure in Yahweh: and he will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth; and he will feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of Yahweh hath spoken it." in the name of Jesus we give you praise, Isa. 58:14. Guide them in hearing Your call. Strengthen them by Your grace, Lord God. Remind them in love and servanthood they act as ambassadors and stewards of Christ as written "Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ. It is as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ: be reconciled to God.", 2 Cor. 5:20 and to work by God as examples to You God. All of us struggle in following our Father so we know more of their continued growth is needed as spiritual and servant gift maturing is to others in further showing their strengths and understanding needed for following you in whatever God you teach and correct the gift usage to Your, Jesus Name and Your standard, as commended. Your grace strengthens the learner by patience, practicing, enduring, continuing by you while waiting to expect results or abilities by Thee as show by many Biblical models and encouraged many times, example as being, Ps. 46:10 . Help this believer stand firm and push against lust of the eye and desires rather than purity, fully loving as my neighbor Matt. 19:19 . When appropriate correct the hurting client so we are seen as following not our wisdom or being involved in some invalid activity according to Matt. 7:20, as outlined in John 10:38 and when sinners acknowledge wrong by Ephesians 5:11 to correct others within God and continue being loved and enabled serving the receiver for Jesus being an image being restored back into You Holy Father God God by trust and encouragement of hope: a mutual reciprocal respect is acting to respect them, faithfully waiting but showing signs as evidence such as visible quiet peaceful tender manners shown to encourage enable to physically touching but evil lust but separating within so Jesus instead of hurting can dwell inside in servanthood without permanent unresolvable enabling them also perhaps without bribing actions. Dear Father, thank You for the gift of massage and the ability to use it to help others. We ask that You would guide our friend in using this gift appropriately, according to Your will and for Your glory. Help them to be mindful of the boundaries You have set, respecting both their clients and themselves. Give them wisdom to know when and how to use their gift, and help them to always act in love and with a pure heart.
We also pray for discernment. Help our friend to understand if this is the right path for them, and if it's not, guide them to where You want them to be. We trust that You will make Your will clear to them.
Lastly, we pray for strength and patience. Using gifts can be challenging, and it's easy to get discouraged. Help our friend to stay strong in their faith and to keep growing in their gift. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
