Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Dupeford, who desires to stop thinking too highly of themselves and to humble their mind. Lord, we acknowledge that pride can easily creep into our hearts and lead us astray from your will. We ask for your grace and guidance to help Dupeford overcome this struggle.
Your Word reminds us in Romans 12:3 that we should not think of ourselves more highly than we ought to, but to have a sober judgment. We pray that Dupeford will have a humble and realistic view of themselves, recognizing their strengths and weaknesses, and relying on your strength rather than their own.
We also lift up Dupeford's desire to stop caring about the material things of others. Lord, in a world that often values possessions and status, help Dupeford to find contentment in you alone. Teach them to focus on eternal treasures rather than temporary earthly possessions.
We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:19-21, where He encourages us to store up treasures in heaven rather than on earth. May Dupeford's heart be set on seeking your kingdom and righteousness above all else, knowing that you will provide for their needs.
Lord, we pray that Dupeford will experience the freedom and peace that comes from a humble and content heart. Help them to find their true worth and identity in you, rather than in the opinions or possessions of others.
We ask for your Holy Spirit to work in Dupeford's life, transforming their thoughts and desires. May they be filled with the love, joy, and peace that can only come from you.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
