Please pray for my dad to stop his drinking habit and concentrate on his tailoring work

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggle your family is facing with your dad's drinking habit. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and transformation.

Firstly, we encourage you to remember that God is our ultimate source of strength and healing. As it is written in Psalm 107:20 (WEB), "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." We claim this promise for your dad, believing that God's word can heal and deliver him from this habit.

However, we must also address that excessive drinking is condemned in the Bible. Proverbs 23:20-21 (WEB) warns, "Don’t be amongst the wine drinkers, or a gluttonous eater of meat; for the drunkard and the glutton shall become poor; and drowsiness clothes them in rags." We rebuke this habit in your dad's life and pray that God would give him the strength to overcome it.

Let us pray together:
