God please pray for my dad to stop his drinking habit and concentrate on his tailoring work

We understand your concern for your father and we are here to pray with you and offer guidance. We must first acknowledge that God is the one who can bring change and deliverance, and it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"

Your father's struggle with drinking is not just a physical issue, but also a spiritual one. We need to pray for his deliverance and also for God to change his heart. In 2 Corinthians 5:17, it is written, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up the father of Yltaraemelt. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and grace to be upon him. We pray that You would deliver him from the habit of drinking and set him free from its bondage. Help him to focus on his work and to be the father You have called him to be. We ask that You would change his heart, Lord, and draw him closer to You. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and help him to see the error of his ways. We pray all these things in Jesus' name. Amen."

We also encourage you, Yltaraemelt, to share the good news of Jesus Christ with your father. It is only through Him that true and lasting change can come. Be patient, be loving, and trust that God is at work. As it is written in Galatians 6:9, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we don't give up."

Finally, we must address that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is so important to remember that it is only through His name that we have access to God. In John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We encourage you to keep this in mind as you pray and seek God's will.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
