We understand your concern and are here to pray with you regarding this situation. However, we need to address a few things according to the Word of God. First, we are to be subject to the governing authorities, as God has instituted them. Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. So be sure to fear the authority that has the power to call a court into session. It is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience. This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing. Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor Do not let any debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not murder, Do not steal, Do not covet, and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: Love your neighbor as yourself. Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law Romans 13: 1-8,10.
First, we are praying for the man in this situation, and we pray that he has accepted the lordship of Jesus Christ. For it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is only through Jesus Christ that a man may be saved. Jesus answered, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6.
Secondly, we pray that this man is not fleeing from any wickedness or hiding wrongdoing, and we encourage him to do what is right and to trust in the Lord.
Regarding the court matter, we pray that the judge will act with godly wisdom and discernment, and that the outcome will align with God's will. We pray that if it is God's will for this man to remain in the country, that the judge will rule in his favor. But if that is not the case then we will pray for his journey back home. But seek first Gods kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore dont be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each days own evil is sufficient. Matthew 6:33-34.
Regarding employment, we pray that the man will find suitable work to meet his needs. But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as it is this day. Deuteronomy 8:18.
Finally, we pray that this man will trust in the Lord, no matter the outcome of his situation. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and dont lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6.
Let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up this man and his current situation. We pray, Lord, that he has accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and that he is walking in Your ways. We ask that You guide the judge presiding over his case, granting them wisdom and discernment to rule according to Your will.
If it is Your will for this man to remain in the country, we pray that the judge will rule in his favor. If not, we pray for his journey back home and for whatever Your will is for his life. We also ask that You provide for his needs, opening up job opportunities that will allow him to earn a living. Help him to walk upright and honest with You.
Help him to trust in You, Lord, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Give him peace and reassurance during this time, and help him to rest in Your love. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 6:23.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage everyone involved to trust in the Lord and to seek His will in all things. We also encourage them to stay strong in their faith while they are waiting on the Lord. Finally, we remind him that he must do what is right and honest before the Lord.
