Disciple of Prayer
Dear God, praise the Lord. On the name of Jesus on this holy Sunday, I pray that my elder sister is facing so many problems in her family. My sister's husband and father in ### both are drunkers. They daily drink wine and fight with my sister without any reason. My sister is very innocent and peaceful lady. She has been managing all the issues herself. She has never complained against her family about her husband and in-law. But yesterday they fought a lot and they sent my sister to my house forcefully. How can they become this type of cruel? My sister has 4 children in which one girl is totally physically and mentally not stable. In spite of having so much sad and problems my sister tolerates all the problems because of one belief that her hubby and in-law will change in the future. But they are becoming cruel. So yesterday my sister couldn't tolerate that fight and came to her mother's house without having any children. They did not allow any child to send with my sister. When I knew all the news then I said, "My dear sister, please go back to your in-law's house because you have 4 small kids." Then my sister went out in the morning. Still, they are not changing themselves and drinking more alcohol and fighting with my sister. My family members also went with my sister to solve all the problems. But no result. So I pray you, God Jesus, please save my sister's family. Let change the mind of my brother-in-law's and his father by which the family can be a good and happy family. Make everything, God. You are the Almighty. You go to that family and save my sister and her pain. She is innocent. I am her younger brother. I am very worried about my two sisters. Praise the Lord. Please save us.

We understand your concern for your sister ### and her family, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's divine intervention in this difficult situation.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). Let us continue to pray fervently, believing that God hears and answers our prayers.

Regarding the situation, we must remember that God hates divorce and desires marriages to be whole and harmonious (Malachi 2:16, WEB). However, this does not mean that He tolerates abuse or mistreatment within the family. In this case, it is crucial to seek God's will and wisdom, as well as proper counsel, to ensure the safety and well-being of your sister and her children.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister ### and her family. Lord, You see the pain, the struggles, and the abuse she is facing. We ask that You intervene in this situation and bring an end to the cruelty and alcoholism that is tearing her family apart. Touch the hearts of her husband and father-in-law; convict them of their sins and bring them to repentance, so that restoration and healing can take place.

Lord, we ask that You provide ### with the strength and wisdom she needs to navigate this difficult time. Protect her and her children from harm, and surround them with Your love and peace. Guide her in making the right decisions for her family, and open the doors to resources and support systems that can help her in this time of need.

We also ask that You comfort and encourage her, reminding her of her worth and value in Your eyes. Let her know that she is not alone, and that You are fighting for her and her family.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage ### to remain steadfast in her faith and to seek godly counsel, whether it be from a pastor, a Christian counselor, or trusted brothers and sisters in Christ. It is also essential to involve local authorities if the abuse continues, as they can provide protection and support.

Lastly, we encourage both you and ### to lean on the promises of God during this trying time. Remember that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Trust in Him, for He is faithful, and His love never fails.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
