To rest well and wake soon Lord

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of our anonymous friend who desires to rest well and wake up refreshed. Lord, you are the giver of sleep and the restorer of our souls. We ask that you grant our friend peaceful and restful sleep, free from any anxiety, worries, or disturbances. May their mind be at ease and their body be rejuvenated during their sleep.

We pray, Lord, that you would calm any restlessness or insomnia that may be hindering our friend from experiencing a good night's rest. Your Word assures us in Psalm 4:8 that you alone make us dwell in safety, so we ask for your divine protection over our friend as they sleep.

In the morning, Lord, we ask that you awaken our friend with renewed strength and energy. May they wake up feeling refreshed, ready to face the day ahead. Help them to start their day with a grateful heart, knowing that you have sustained them through the night.

We also pray, Lord, that you would grant our friend the ability to cast all their cares and burdens upon you, as you have instructed us in 1 Peter 5:7. Help them to surrender their worries and anxieties to you, trusting that you are in control and will provide for their every need.

Lord, we thank you for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust that you will answer according to your perfect will. May our friend experience the peace that surpasses all understanding as they rest in your loving care. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
