Dwalythe, we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in your life and that of your son. Let's begin by remembering God's promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (WEB), "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. Regarding your son, we encourage you to trust in God's faithfulness and goodness. Remember the promise in Proverbs 22:6 (WEB), "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Continue to pray for him and trust that God is working in his life.
We also encourage you to examine your own life and ensure that you are walking in righteousness and obedience to God's Word. The Bible teaches us in Matthew 7:3-5 (WEB) to first remove the beam out of our own eye, and then we can see clearly to remove the speck out of our brother's eye.
