We understand that you're seeking wisdom, understanding, and creativity, and you want God's intervention in your school life. You also mention an addiction you're battling. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is the source of all wisdom and understanding. As it says in James 1:5 WEB If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is seeking your wisdom and understanding. We know how much we are all in need of it, as the Bible says in James 1:5 WEB, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.” We ask that you guide our precious friend through the school challenges and help them to grasp difficult concepts with ease.
We also pray for the battle against addiction. Father, we know that this is a struggle that cannot be fought alone. We stand on the promise of First Corinthians 10:13 WEB, “No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” We know that you provide a way out. Help our fellow Christian Believer to be strong and resist temptation, turning to you for support and guidance.
We pray for a renewed mind, as stated in Romans 12:2 WEB, “Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.” Help our dear friend to overcome this addiction by focusing on you and your Word.
We also want to encourage you to keep your faith strong. As the Bible says in Ephesians 3:16-19 WEB, “that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can come to God as it says in John 14:6 WEB, “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.”
We believe that God will intervene in your life, grant you wisdom and understanding, help you excel in your studies, and give you victory over your addiction.
