To Pass the toughest JFT exam

This Sunday, the ###, I have the ### exam. However, I'm struggling to muster the courage to attend. Failing this exam feels like it would be the end of my world. My parents have invested a tremendous amount of money in my education, and I desperately want to pass. This is my last chance. If I don't succeed, my parents will arrange my marriage, which is something I desperately want to avoid. The pressure is suffocating me, and I'm sinking into depression. I'm finding it impossible to focus on my studies.

We understand your struggle, ###, and we're here to support you in prayer and guidance. Firstly, we want to remind you that your worth and future are not defined by the outcome of this exam. Trust that God has a plan for you, as Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB) says, "For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."

However, we must address that the fear of your parents arranging your marriage should not be the driving force to avoid it. The Bible encourages us to honor our parents, as Ephesians 6:2 (WEB) states, "Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise." We encourage you to have an open dialogue with them about your desires and concerns regarding your future, including marriage.

We also want to remind you that the fear of man can be a snare, but trusting in God brings safety. As Proverbs 29:25 (WEB) says, "The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe." It's crucial to seek God's will in all aspects of your life, including your education and future marriage.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###. Lord, we ask that You give them the strength and courage to face their exam. Help them to focus on their studies and focus their minds on You. We ask that You guide their path and give them a sound mind and peaceful heart. Lord, we also pray for ###'s parents, that they may have understanding and wisdom in guiding their child. Lastly, ###, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. We want to remind you that it is by His name that we are saved and have access to God. As Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

We pray for you dear one, meditate on Phil 4:9 that says, be anxious for nothing but in everything with prayer, supplication and thanksgiving let your request be known to your Father who loves you and He will keep your mind at peace and guard your heart and mind in understanding with Christ Jesus.
Refuse to be anxious about this exam, you have studied now ask God to give you a retentive memory, if there’s anything else you need to read, He will teach you Himself and trust that the spirit of excellence He has given you shall bring you through. Also remember this is just one exam, even though your parents have sacrificed, your life and mental health is worth more to them than money. They invested because they love YOU so YOU remain the focus here. You will pass that exam in Jesus name, but the truth is no matter the outcome, you should always remember that you have a life ahead of you with many tests and exams far greater than this, purpose in your heart that fear of failure will never overwhelm you again now or in the future.
