We understand that you are currently taking your board exams, which are crucial for your high school career, and you would like us to pray for you. We are here to support you in prayer and to encourage you to trust in the Lord during this important time.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is the source of all wisdom and understanding. As it says in Proverbs 2:6 WEB, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." And in James 1:5 WEB, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." We add to that by saying that you must believe in Jesus Christ to ask anything of God. This is the key to prayer and salvation.
We pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this student who is currently taking their board exams. We ask that You grant them the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding they need to succeed. Help them to recall all that they have studied and to apply it accurately during their exams.
Lord, we also pray for a calm and focused mind for this student. Let them not be anxious or stressed, but rather, let them rest in the confidence that You are with them, guiding and supporting them every step of the way. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7 4:6 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 4:7 WEB "and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the only way to approach you and receive your blessings. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Now, we completely trust in God's will for your life. God has a plan and a purpose for you, and these exams are just one step in that journey. So while it is great to strive for excellence, it is more important to have a heart that is humble and teachable before God. We encourage you to seek God's will for your life and to trust in Him, no matter the outcome of your exams.
Remember, God's word says in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'" Trust in His plan for you, and know that He is always working for your good.
Lastly, we would like to gently remind you that while it is good to ask for prayer, it is essential to approach God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only through faith in Jesus that we can be saved. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ if you have not already done so. He is the only way to God and the only source of eternal life.
