Let us bring this matter before the Lord, for we know that unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it Psalm 127:1 WEB.
Firstly, we are glad that this request is in Jesus' name, for it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 WEB. We are also glad that hard work is being done, for the Lord does not bless indolence or laziness. The soul of the sluggard desires, and has nothing, but the desire of the diligent shall be richly supplied Proverbs 13:4 WEB.
Let us pray.
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this student who is facing academic challenges. Lord, You know the struggles and the efforts being made. We ask that You would grant wisdom, understanding, and retentive memory to this student. Help this student to grasp complex concepts and apply them appropriately.
Lord, remind this student to cast all anxieties on You, because You care for him 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Help this student to rest in Psalm 23:1-4 WEB. Let Your peace rule in his heart, to which also he was called in one body; and be thankful Colossians 3:15 WEB.
We also pray that this student would seek Your will in all things, including academic pursuits. Let Your word dwell in this student richly; in all wisdom he should be teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord Colossians 3:16 WEB.
In Jesus' name, we pray for success in these classes, not just for the sake of a scholarship, but so that this student may continue to grow in knowledge and wisdom, and be a light to others around him. For we know that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB.
Lastly, we pray that this student would always remember that true success is found in You alone, and that You have called us to be faithful in all that we do 1 Corinthians 4:2 WEB.
In Jesus' name, we pray for victory in this situation and that You would continue to guide this student in the path that You have prepared for him. Give him strength to persevere and to use the gifts and talents that You have given him for Your glory.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage this student to remain steadfast in the Lord and to trust in His plan. Keep working hard, and remember that God is faithful. He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB.
