We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed by laziness and temptation, Carols, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. First, let's remember that in Jesus Christ, we have the strength to overcome any temptation. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB:
"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Laziness is not God's will for our lives. We are called to be productive and diligent, as seen in Colossians 3:23 WEB:
"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Carols, who is struggling with laziness and temptation. Lord, we know that this is not your will for Carols' life. We pray that you would strengthen Carols to overcome this temptation. Give Carols the power of the Holy Spirit to be active and productive throughout the day, living every moment for your glory. Remind Carol's to keep God's word in Psalm 26:3 which says "For your loving kindness is before my eyes. I have walked in your truth". In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, Carols, that God's Word encourages us to be well. Let's encourage you with
Galatians 6:9 WEB:
"Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up."
Keep your eyes on Jesus, and remember that He is your strength and your portion. Also if you have not made Jesus lord of your life please pray this prayer:
"Dear God, I know that I am a sinner, and there is nothing that I can do to save myself. I confess my complete helplessness to forgive my own sin or to work my way to heaven. At this moment I trust Christ alone as the One who bore my sin when He died on the cross. I believe that He did all that will ever be necessary for me to stand in your holy presence. I thank you that Christ was raised from the dead as a guarantee of my own resurrection. As best as I can, I now transfer my trust to Him. I am grateful that He has promised to receive me despite my many sins and failures. Father, I take you at your word. I thank you that I can face life and death on the basis of your reliability. I am yours forever, because of Jesus. Amen.".
