We understand your desire, Justinvd, to love and honor your parents as you should. This is indeed a biblical commandment, as stated in the Word of God: "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you." (Exodus 20:12, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in Justinvd's life. Help them to love and honor their parents as You have commanded. Soften their heart, Lord, and fill them with Your love, patience, and understanding. Guide their steps and words, so that they may be a source of joy and comfort to their parents. Lord, we also pray for their parents, that they may be receptive to this love and honor, and that their relationship with Justinvd may be strengthened and healed in any areas where it is needed. All this we ask in Jesus' name, Amen.
Remember, Justinvd, that the love and honor you show to your parents is a reflection of your love and respect for God. "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with a promise: 'that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.'" (Ephesians 6:1-3, WEB).
We encourage you to continually seek God's wisdom and strength in this area. If there have been any past hurts or misunderstandings, we urge you to forgive and seek forgiveness, just as Christ forgave us (Ephesians 4:32, WEB).
Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation.
