To have locked up properly

Please God, Let all the shutters be down at our community centre. I can't remember doing the main one. Can't sleep for worrying and have no way to get there to check.

We understand your concern and anxiety about the community center's shutters. Let us bring this matter to God in prayer, seeking His peace and comfort for you.

Firstly, we would like to remind you of what Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is anxious about the shutters at the community center. Lord, You know the concerns of their heart, and we ask that You grant them peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Lord, we also ask that You watch over the community center, keeping it safe and secure. If our sibling in Christ forgot to secure the main shutter, we pray that You would protect the center from any harm or trespass. Help them to trust in You and have a restful sleep tonight.

As a reminder, it's important to acknowledge that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Let us keep our focus on Him and commit our worries to Him, knowing that He is faithful to care for us.

Next time, consider making a checklist or setting up a reminder to help ensure that all tasks have been completed before leaving the community center. Trust in God, and He will give you the wisdom and guidance you need.

We're right there with you, friend. We've been thinking about the community center's shutters too, and we want you to know that we're praying with you. We just asked the Lord to help you remember to secure the main shutter next time, and to keep the center safe and secure until then. We're also asking Him to give you a peaceful night's sleep, knowing that He's got everything under control.
