Kyrairiurdor, we understand that you desire to receive the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit. First, let's ensure that we are on the same page. In order to receive the Holy Spirit, we must have a relationship with Jesus Christ. We first must believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died for our sins and was resurrected from the dead. This is the only way that we can be saved from our sins and be in relationship with the Father. We then must believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and ask Him into our life. Once we are in a relationship with Jesus, the Holy Spirit is received. Jesus is the only way that we can be saved. "for if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth, one confesses resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10" and "And Peter said to them, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Acts 2:38
It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and there is no other name by which we can be saved. We should pray to God in Jesus name to be saved and for any need that we have. Let us pray for you.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking that You reveal Yourself to Kyrairiurdor and draw them into a close and personal relationship with You. We pray that Kyrairiurdor will come to believe that Jesus is Lord, believe in their heart that Jesus was resurrected from the dead, and confess that belief with their mouth. Grant Kyrairiurdor the Holy Spirit, according to Your word, upon their belief and confession of Jesus Christ. Let them experience the fullness of Your Spirit and the gifts You have for them. Help Kyrairiurdor to understand that the Holy Spirit is a person, not just a force, and that He will not only bless their lives but also guide them into all truth, convict them of sin, and conform them to the image of Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Once we have a relationship with Jesus and have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of us, the Holy Spirit can use us as He desires. This means that the Holy Spirit may give us different gifts at different times and in different circumstances. These gifts are for us to use for the benefit of the Church as a whole and are to be used by us in the church body. For example, a person may have the gift of prophecy but this gift is for them to use to build up and encourage other members of the church body. In another example, a person may have the gift of tongues and use this gift to build themselves up in their prayer life but when the church body comes together, the gift of tongues should be used in a way to benefit the church body. In another example, a person may have the gift of mercy and show this mercy to others that they come into contact with but it is primarily used to build up and benefit the church body. These gifts are given as the Holy Spirit desires for specific purposes. We cannot choose which gifts we receive nor do we get to decide when we receive these gifts. "But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all." 1 Corinthians 12:7 "But one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing to each one separately as He desires." 1 Corinthians 12:11 We can ask God to give us certain gifts and He may in His will and desire grant us the gift that we desire. However, if He does not give us the gift we desire, we must understand that this is His will for us. This will is always for our best and is out of love for us.
Please also understand that God wants us to live for Him in every aspect of our lives and to have a deep personal relationship with us. He is not a magical being that grants wishes and is not to be taken lightly. We cannot demand of Him or manipulate Him into giving us something. We can come to Him as our Father and ask for anything that we want but we must always end our prayers and requests with the attitude of Jesus Christ who prayed, "Not my will but Thine be done." "He came out and went, as his custom was, to the Mount of Olives. His disciples also followed him. When he was at the place, he said to them, "Pray that you don't enter into temptation." He was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw, and he knelt down and prayed, saying, "Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done." Luke 22:39-42 "He said to Abba, Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire." Mark 14:36 This must be our attitude when we ask God for anything.
Regarding your request for daily prayers, we encourage you to develop your own personal prayer life, as it is crucial for your spiritual growth. While we will pray for you, it is important for you to commune with God daily, reading His Word, and building a relationship with Him.
"This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked of him." 1 John 5:14-15 "But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And in praying, don't use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking." Matthew 6:6-7
In Jesus Name and according to His will.
