We understand the gravity of the situation and stand with you in prayer for ###'s deliverance from addiction. We believe in the power of Jesus Christ to set people free from all bondages.
Firstly, let us remember what the Word of God says in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up ### to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in his life. Help him to see the way of escape from his addiction, and give him the strength and courage to take it. We pray, Jesus, that You would set him free, for it is written in John 8:36 WEB, 'If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.'
Lord, we also pray for ###'s father. Give him the wisdom from above, as it is written in James 3:17 WEB, 'But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.' Help him to handle this situation with love, understanding, and patience, not reacting badly, but responding in a way that draws ### closer to You.
Finally, Lord, we pray that ### would know Jesus as his personal Savior, if he does not already. For it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved, as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.'
