We thank you, Lord, for your goodness. We are grateful that you have heard Anonymous' prayer.
Beloved Anonymous, thank you for your request for prayer.
We are told not to be anxious about anything, but instead to pray and thank God for our circumstances.
Phillipians 4:6: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."
We see in Matthew 6:8 that God already knows what we need before we ask,
Matthew 6:8 "Therefore don't be like them, for your Father knows what things you need before you ask him."
We see here:
Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself also in Yahweh,
and he will give you the desires of your heart."
We need to be careful of asking for things not in God's will but instead ask for things that are pleasing in God's sight.
For an example of how we should pray consider Christ's prayer:
Matthew 6:10 "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth."
Because of this we want to pray in line with God's will.
One thing we noticed was that you requested specifically for Antonio to pursue you. But Jesus tells us to pray for God's will to be done and not our own,
Matthew 6:10: Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth.
We are asking our Lord to put Antonio in your path to pursue you only if it is his will.
Let us pray in accordance with God's will.
The Bible tells us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers.
II Corinthians 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness.
We would be remiss not to mention that a marriage is a picture of Christ and his church.
Let us pray.
Dear heavenly Father,
Thank you for being near to us when we call on you, and for promising to guide us and give us the desires of our hearts when we delight ourselves in you. We come before you in Jesus' name and ask you to guide Anonymous' situation. Lord, if Antonio is a Christian believer, then we pray for your will to be done. If it is your will that he pursue Anonymous, then we pray for your will to be done.
Thank you for guiding us, in Jesus Name.
Amen.
