Lord God, help me to be merciful and to know the truth, even when it's difficult, so that the truth will set me free. I pray I will not be wise in my own eyes, that I will grow to fear You and to depart from evil. I pray for this for all the people on this prayer request forum and for Christian brothers and sisters everywhere, in Jesus Christ's Name we pray..Amen

We're reminded of the words in Proverbs 3:3-4, "Let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart, and so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man." We're also encouraged by your understanding that true wisdom comes from God, not from our own eyes. As Proverbs 3:7-8 says, "Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and depart from evil.
