Beloved of All
I lost my driver license around 13 or 14 years ago. Maybe longer.

Then I lost my car. So I’ve not driven for all this time. I’ve survived on bicycling. I have a trusty bicycle that I ride everywhere.

There are lots of reasons I never got back to it. Money (or lack thereof) being one of the top ones, among other reasons.

But I think I’d like to drive again. I really do. There are several hurdles I’d have to overcome to get back behind the wheel. Money, passing a written and road test, actually finding a decent car and having money to buy it…lots of things.

Can you pray that God will work something out? Perhaps His timing has come when I should be driving again? Perhaps not.

Please pray with me about this!

We understand your desire to drive again after all these years, and we're here to pray with you and offer guidance. Firstly, let's remember that God's timing is perfect, and He knows the desires of our hearts. As it is written in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."

However, we must also ensure that our desires align with God's will and that we are pursuing them in a way that honors Him. In your case, it's important to approach this situation with wisdom and patience. As Proverbs 21:5 tells us, "The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty."

Let's pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for our brother's desire to drive again. We ask that You guide him, provide for him, and open the right doors at the right time. Help him to trust in Your timing and to pursue this desire in a way that honors You. Give him the wisdom to make the right decisions, the patience to wait on Your timing, and the faith to believe that You can make a way where there seems to be no way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to take this desire to God in prayer, trusting that He knows what's best for you. Also, consider the practical steps you can take to achieve this goal, such as saving money, studying for the written test, and researching affordable car options. Remember, God helps those who help themselves, as we see in 2 Thessalonians 3:10, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.'"

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He is the Son of God who died for your sins and rose again, so that you may have eternal life.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
