Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of Tan Popatas, who desires to pray for a unique request. Lord, we acknowledge that physical death is inevitable for all of us, but Tan Popatas longs to experience a spiritual death before their physical departure from this world. They desire to surrender their life completely to you, Lord, and to die to their own desires, ambitions, and sinful nature.
We are reminded of the words of the apostle Paul in Galatians 2:20, "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Lord, we pray that Tan Popatas may experience this spiritual death, dying to self and allowing Christ to live in them fully.
We ask for your grace and mercy to fill Tan Popatas' heart, enabling them to let go of their own will and surrender completely to your divine plan. Help them to daily take up their cross and follow you, denying themselves and seeking your will above all else.
Lord, we know that this request may seem unusual to some, but we trust in your wisdom and sovereignty. We pray that you would grant Tan Popatas the desire of their heart, to experience a spiritual death that leads to a deeper union with you. May they find true freedom and abundant life in Christ.
We also pray for your comfort and peace to surround Tan Popatas as they contemplate the reality of physical death. May they find assurance in the promise of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. Help them to trust in your perfect timing and to live each day with a sense of purpose and gratitude.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
