Father God, in the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Tan Popatas, who desires to clear their ego. Lord, we acknowledge that ego can hinder our relationship with you and with others. We understand that ego often leads to pride, competition, and a false sense of self-importance.
We pray, Lord, that you would help Tan Popatas to embrace the meekness and humility that Jesus exemplified. Your Word reminds us in Matthew 11:29, "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." We ask that you grant Tan Popatas the grace and courage to accept themselves for who they are and to cease pretending.
Father, we ask that you deliver Tan Popatas from the urge to compete with others for position or prestige. Help them to find their true peace in beholding you and to forget themselves in the process. May they become childlike in their approach, simple and artless, trusting you completely.
Lord, we pray that you cleanse the intent of Tan Popatas' heart with the unspeakable gift of your grace. May they be constantly aware of your overshadowing presence and hear your speaking voice. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
