We understand that you're eager to celebrate Christmas with your family and friends, Skyander, and we're here to pray and guide you according to God's will. First, let's remember that Jesus is the reason for the season. It's wonderful that you want to be with your family, but let's also remember to keep our focus on Christ.
Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.
We need to be subject to the authorities that God has placed over us (Romans 13:1-3, WEB). In your case, that includes your college and its assessment schedule. While it's important to be with family, it's also important to fulfill your responsibilities as a student. God wants us to be diligent in our studies and faithful in our commitments, considering that Jesus went about doing good works and healing all who were oppressed of the devil.
Our Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Skyander. Lord, we pray for Your will to be done in his life. If it's Your will, we ask that You intervene and make a way for his assessments to be rescheduled. But if not, Lord, we pray that You give Skyander the grace to accept it and the strength to focus on his studies. We also pray for his success in these assessments and in the placement training selection.
We pray for Skyander, that he'd remember to keep Christ at the center of Christmas. Moreover, we pray for acceptance with faith that God will turn everything to the good, as a result of His children loving God and being called to His purpose. God has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and to an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. Comfort him knowing that everyone who has had to leave their homes for the sake of Christ will inherit the earth. Some of them will put you to death. You will be hated by all people because of My name, but not a hair on your head will be destroyed. By your endurance you will gain your lives
Remember, Skyander, that whatever happens, God is in control. He knows the plans He has for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Keep trusting in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
Lastly, we want to encourage you to include the name of Jesus in your prayers. It's only by His name that we have access to God the Father. The scriptures declares that And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! (WEB). It says that If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and you will be saved and with the heart man believes resulting in righteousness and with the mouth he confesses resulting in salvation.
