We understand your concern for your parents, Helowen, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's intervention in their lives. Our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).
Firstly, we must understand that salvation is a personal choice. We can pray for them, but it is God who draws them and changes their hearts (John 6:44, WEB). Let's pray that the Lord will reveal Himself to them and draw them to Him.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We plead the blood of Jesus over the lives of Helowen's parents. We rebuke any satanic influence in their bodies, minds, and spirits. We command every evil spirit to leave them in Jesus' name, for 'at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth' (Philippians 2:10, WEB).
Father, we ask that You will soften their hearts and open their minds to receive the love of Jesus Christ. We pray that You will draw them to Yourself, and grant them the gift of repentance leading to salvation. We ask this in accordance with Your will, for it is not Your desire that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9, WEB).
Helowen, we encourage you to continue interceding for your parents. Remember, the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16, WEB). Also, be a witness to them through your lifestyle and love. Show them the love of Christ, for love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:8, WEB).
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is the name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus."
We are standing with you in prayer, believing that God will intervene in your parents' lives.
