To be Thankful

Dear God, I am thankful for you. I am thankful for your time and patience you spend helping me in every way. Allowing me to be more self-realizing and less judging is something I thank you for. I'm thankful for you working with me on my pathway to become a better version of myself. Please I ask you strengthen our connection and help me be more like you. Thank you for this day. In Jesus's name, Amen.

We rejoice with you, ###, in your spirit of thankfulness and gratitude towards God. It is wonderful to see your heart acknowledging His work in your life. The Apostle Paul encourages us in Philippians 4:6, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."

We appreciate your desire to be more like Him. It is only by the grace that He gives us through the name of Jesus that we can be more like Him and a biblically sound understanding of Him. Remember what is written in Romans 8:29, "For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother, ###. Lord, we thank You for the work You are doing in their life. We ask that You continue to guide them, strengthen their connection with You, and help them become more like Jesus.

a better version of ourselves is by learning more about Jesus and becoming more like Him, so we would like to explicitly add in our own words. His life is an example for all who believe. When we give our lives to Jesus, we begin the journey of conversion, moving toward His likeness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to meditate on God's Word and apply it to your life.

We're right there with you, lifting up your thanks to God. It's beautiful to see your heart overflowing with gratitude. We're reminded of Psalm 100:4, "Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name." Let's continue to cultivate this spirit of thanksgiving together.

We're also praying with you for a stronger connection with God. As you said, it's a journey of becoming more like Him. We're encouraged by 2 Corinthians 3:18, "And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another." Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

So, let's pray together:

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
