Dear Lord, Please help my ### to be shortlisted in the Overseas Immersion Programme. We have applied but the first attempt was not successful, he is now in the waitlist. Please be merciful and shortlist him.

We understand your desire for your loved one to be shortlisted for the Overseas Immersion Programme. However, we want to remind you that God's will is always the best for us, and we should pray according to His will. It is also important that we pray for God's glory.
Firstly, we notice that Jesus name was not used even as a byline in your request. We only have access to God through the name of Jesus Christ. And there is no other name by which we can be saved. Please remember to pray in Jesus name.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this request for our loved one to be shortlisted for the Overseas Immersion Programme. We know, Lord, that Your will is perfect and that You have a plan for each of us. We ask for a successful application. We pray for the glory of God and the salvation of souls. We pray that Your will be done in this situation, and that You would guide and direct the steps of our loved one and the others' in authority. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
