To be honest I'm a little disappointed ...

To be honest I'm a little disappointed with the rate of speed of the last days. I thought last meant final near the end. Yet days weeks months etc pass by and we're still it this world with our problems. Frustrating.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of ###. We lift up his disappointment and frustration regarding the perceived delay in the fulfillment of the last days. Lord, we understand that your timing is perfect and that you work according to your divine plan. Help ### to trust in your sovereignty and to have patience as he waits for the fulfillment of your promises.

In your Word, you remind us in 2 Peter 3:9 that you are not slow in keeping your promise, but you are patient, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance. We pray that ### would have a renewed perspective, recognizing that your delay is an opportunity for more people to come to know you and experience your saving grace.

Lord, we ask that you would strengthen ###'s faith and give him the assurance that you are in control. Help him to focus on seeking your kingdom and righteousness, knowing that all other things will be added unto him. Grant him the wisdom to discern the signs of the times and to live a life that is pleasing to you.

Father, we pray for your guidance and comfort for ### during this time of waiting. May he find solace in your presence and draw near to you in prayer and in the study of your Word. Fill him with your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Lastly, Lord, we pray for a spirit of hope and anticipation to be stirred within ###'s heart. Help him to fix his eyes on the eternal glory that awaits us, knowing that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
