Let us stand together in prayer for Toruargordire, Vidya, and Madhu, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
Firstly, we would like to remind everyone that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in the WEB, "For 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" Romans 10:13. And there is no other name given by which any person can be saved. Acts 4:12. Let's ensure we always approach God through Jesus Christ as this is a vital part of our communication with God. Now let us go before God for this request.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Toruargordire, Vidya, and Madhu. We pray for Your healing touch upon Vidya and Madhu, that You would restore their health and give the doctors wisdom and discernment in their care. We know that "the prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." James 5:15
Father, we also pray for Your peace to fill their hearts and lives. We know that You are the source of true peace, and we ask that You would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
We pray for Toruargordire to have hope and patience as they stand by Vidya and Madhu during this difficult time. As a group we are explicitly praying that everyone involved has entered into the hope of the gospel by being born again into God's family through faith in Jesus Christ.
Lastly, we pray for their overall wellbeing, that they would experience Your love and goodness in their lives. Ultimately God, we ask that you be glorified through this situation and that your will be done. We ask all of these things in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
We encourage everyone involved to meditate on God's Word and trust in His promises. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you.
