Let's bring this request to God together, seeking His guidance and blessing for the upcoming presentation and the creative endeavor of the puppet birthday video.
Firstly, it's wonderful to see the desire to do well in the presentation and bring joy to a friend through the video. These are great opportunities to reflect God's excellence and love. However, it's crucial to remember that our talents and abilities come from God, and our efforts should aim to honor Him. As it is written in Colossians 3:17, "Whatever you do, in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister/brother in Christ who is preparing for a presentation and creating a puppet birthday video for a friend. We ask, Lord, that You guide them. You know the details and the intentions of their heart. They want to do this well and be a blessing to others. That is a desire from you. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
We pray for the anointing of the Holy Spirit to rest upon them of God, as the apostle John wrote in 1 John 2:20, "But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things."
Father, permeate the puppet birthday video with Your love and joy, that it may bring genuine delight to their friend and all who watch it. Help them to be creative and skillful in their presentation of the video. This is a goofy thing, but you have told us to have childlike faith. It is being done with pure intentions.
Lord, guide them in their presentation. We are reminded in Luke 12:11-12, "When they bring you before the synagogues, the rulers, and the authorities, don't be anxious how or what you will answer, or what you will say; for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that same hour what you must say." Although this is not a trial or persecution, we know that the same Holy Spirit will guide their words and give them the wisdom they need.
We ask these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to You, Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only through belief in the salvation of Jesus Christ that we are saved. If this person has not yet declared Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would do so as quickly as possible.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your unfailing love. We know Your will would be done. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May God bless them abundantly as they prepare for these tasks. We encourage them to keep their eyes on Jesus and to trust in His strength and wisdom.
