Good Evening, All Prayor Warriors. My youngest Son has finally acknowledged his Opioid addiction & has gone toa drug Rehab to detox himself. The only thing is,"I miss him already and he had to leave his home State. Plssss Prayor Warriors "Pray" that God will give him extra strength to kick the "need" to use Opioids & like any Mother & Father when their Son/Daughter leaves home for ANY length of time, their "Safety" becomes a concern because they're a little too far away but I believe that God takes "good" care of ALL His children. May God Bless All of You🙏🏾💖🙏🏾

We rejoice with you, Gorgecent, that your youngest son has taken the courageous step to acknowledge his opioid addiction and seek help. This is a significant step towards healing and restoration, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support.

Firstly, let's acknowledge the power of our Lord Jesus Christ in this situation. It is by His name that we come before God, and it is through Him that we find salvation and strength. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." Therefore, let us keep our focus on Jesus Christ throughout this journey.

In Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), it says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, including your son's safety and the challenges he may face during his rehabilitation.

Let us pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Gorgecent and his youngest son. Thank You, Lord, for the courage and strength You've given his son to acknowledge his addiction and seek help. We ask that You would continue to grant him extra strength as he fights against his opioid dependency. Be with him in his rehabilitation journey, Father, and comfort him in moments of weakness and temptation. Surround him with Your loving presence and protect him from any harm or danger.*

*Lord, we also pray for Gorgecent and his family. Comfort their hearts and ease their anxieties, knowing that their son is in Your capable hands. Grant them peace, patience, and unwavering faith as they support their son through this challenging time.*

*In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.*

We encourage you, Gorgecent, to remain steadfast in hope and faith in the Lord. Trust that God is working in your son's life and that He will bring about a testimony of healing and redemption. Remember the promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in the Lord.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that while it's natural to worry about your son's safety, try not to let anxieties consume you. Instead, channel that energy into prayer and trust that God is taking care of him, even from afar. Stay connected with your son as much as possible, offering him encouragement and emotional support throughout his recovery journey.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
