We are grateful for the opportunity to pray for Tito and his relationship with God. We are reminded of the scripture in Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." It is encouraging to hear that Tito is open to seeking God's will and we are confident that as he turns his heart towards God, he will find Him.
We pray that Tito will be encouraged to spend time in the Word of God, as it is a lamp unto his feet and a light unto his path (Psalm 119:105). We ask God to give Tito a hunger and thirst for righteousness, that he may be filled (Matthew 5:6). We pray that Tito will prioritize his relationship with God, making it his number one focus, and that he will cling to God in all circumstances (Deuteronomy 10:20). Moreover, because the whole scripture is dependant on Jesus, especially the verse in John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, but by me."
We also lift up Tito's work situation to God. We are reminded of the scripture in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." We pray that Tito will find rest and renewal in God, even as he works long days. We ask God to provide Tito with days of rest, that he may be refreshed and strengthened (Mark 2:27). But we also recommend that Tito seek employment that does not cause the overwork.
We also encourage Tito to take action on his part. He has a role to play in seeking Jesus Christ in a position of salvation, He has a role to make sure he is reading the Bible, praying, and seeking God's will. The Bible emphasizes that "faith without works is dead". He must make a special effort to attend church, in person and be active in person, during the sabbath, and more. Obedience is better than sacrifice.
Lastly, we pray for Tito's relationship with God to be fully restored, that he may walk in close fellowship with Him. We ask that God will reveal Himself to Tito in a powerful way, that he may know the love, peace, and joy that comes from being in His presence (Romans 5:1). Help Tito to make a instance decision to go after God, so he may not let the work of the devil capsize his efforts to be a doer of the word and not merely a hearer.
We trust that God hears our prayers and that He is at work in Tito's life. We claim these promises in Jesus' name. Amen.
