We join you, Lucy, in lifting up Tito before our Heavenly Father, trusting in the power of prayer and the name of Jesus Christ. It's encouraging to see your heart for your brother and your desire for his spiritual growth.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as our Lord taught, "Most certainly, I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." (John 16:23-24 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Dear Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Tito to You. We pray that Tito will seek Your will, as it is done in heaven, and not rely on others, but come directly to You, dear Father, for his needs and desires. We ask that You will give him the strength and wisdom to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that You will provide all he needs when he seeks You first. (Matthew 6:33 WEB)
Lord, we ask for Your provision for Tito, as he is currently caring for nine people, and that number may increase to thirteen. We trust in Your promise, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB) Father, please provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. (Philippians 4:19 WEB)
We also pray for Tito's rest. Lord, we know that Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30 WEB) Please grant Tito the rest he needs, both physically and spiritually.
Father, we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It's in His name that we have access to Your throne of grace. (Hebrews 4:16 WEB) We thank You for Your faithfulness and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lucy, continue to encourage Tito to seek the Lord and His will for all things. Remind him that it is in Christ alone that we find our strength and provision. As the Scripture says, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13 WEB)
Lastly, we want to remind both you and Tito of the importance of not only praying in Jesus' name but also living in His name, "Whatever you may do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him." (Colossians 3:17 WEB) Make sure that Tito knows Jesus Christ not only as a provider but also as his Lord and Savior. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved. (Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB)
