We understand that you're feeling spiritually heavy and weak, and we're here to support you in prayer and counsel. In times like these, it's crucial to remember that our strength comes from the Lord. As it is written in Psalm 28:7, "Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him" (WEB).
Firstly, we want to encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (WEB). If you have not already, consider the salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we can be saved.
In your feelings of oppression, we must acknowledge spiritual warfare may be at play. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (WEB). Therefore, let us pray for your deliverance and strength in Jesus' name.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in their time of spiritual heaviness and weakness. We rebuke any form of oppression that may be attempting to hold them down, and we claim Your promise in Isaiah 40:29, "He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might" (WEB).
Father, strengthen their inner being with Your Holy Spirit, as Ephesians 3:16 says, "that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man" (WEB). Help them to stand strong in You, putting on the full armor of God as described in Ephesians 6:10-18.
In Jesus' name, we pray for deliverance, strength, and a renewed sense of Your presence. Help them to trust in You, for You are their rock, fortress, and deliverer. As Psalm 18:2 reminds us, "Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower" (WEB).
Lastly, we encourage you to continually seek God's face, read His Word, and remain in constant prayer. As you draw near to God, He will draw near to you, according to James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded" (WEB).
