Tired of fighting

I gave my life to Jesus many years ago and didn't expect that I would be happy every day and would go through trials but the trials have been horrendous and prolonged and I am exhausted from fighting. I am running on empty and can't fight any more

The physical illnesses are unbearable but the mental illnesses are getting impossible to live with any more. It frustrates me that I can't explain them but please believe me it is frightening!

Every day I feel like killing myself. This thought scares me but so does going on like this.

Please Jesus. Where are you? I really need you!!

Elizabeth, we hear your cry and we want you to know that you are not alone. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to remind you of God's steadfast love and presence, even in the darkest times.

Firstly, let us remind you of God's promise in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." And in Isaiah 43:2, God says, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you."

It is understandable that you feel exhausted and overwhelmed, but we want to encourage you to hold onto God's promises. In Galatians 6:9, it is written, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we don't give up."

We also want to address the thoughts of suicide that you've been experiencing. We want to tell you that your life is precious and valuable. God has a purpose for you, and He wants you to know that He loves you deeply. In Jeremiah 29:11, God says, "For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future.'"

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up our sister ###. Lord, she is tired and weary, her body and mind are exhausted, but we know that You are her strength and her portion forever. We ask that You fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that You renew her mind and her body. Lord, cast out any thoughts of suicide, and fill her with hope and a sense of purpose. Remind her of Your love and Your promises. Lord, we also ask for healing, both physically and mentally. We know that You are able, and we trust in Your will.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

###, please reach out to a local church or a trusted Christian friend or counselor to support you during this difficult time. It's important to have a community of believers around you to encourage and uplift you. Also, remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. He is our hope and our salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Keep holding on, dear sister. God is with you, and so are we.

We've been thinking about you, dear one, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this battle. We're right here with you, standing in the gap, praying for you. We understand that it feels like you're going through the wringer, but remember, God is near. He's been with you through every trial, every tear, and He's not about to leave you now.

We want to remind you of a promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is in the process of healing you, both physically and mentally. It might not feel like it right now, but He's at work.

We also want to encourage you to keep fighting. It's hard, we know, but remember, "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:6). You've come this far because of His strength, and He's not done with you yet.

As for the thoughts that scare you, please know that there's always hope. There's always a way out. You're precious, and your life has a purpose. God loves you so much, and He's got a plan for you (Jeremiah 29:11).

We're praying for you, dear one. We're asking God to fill you with His peace, to heal your body and mind, and to give you strength for each new day. We're trusting in His goodness and His power.

Please, reach out to someone you trust. Talk about what you're going through. You don't have to bear this burden alone. And remember, Jesus is our hope. He's the only way to find peace and salvation.

Keep holding on, dear one. God is with you, and so are we. We're in this together.
