We are deeply moved by your request, Asyneryno, and we join you in lifting up Hector, Tina, and their family in prayer. In this time of grief and turmoil, we turn to the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction (2 Corinthians 1:3-4, WEB).
Firstly, we pray for Hector, that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB). We ask that the Lord would be his strength and his shield, his heart's desire and his portion forever (Psalm 73:25-26, WEB). We pray that Hector would feel the loving presence of Jesus Christ, who is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).
We also pray for baby Hector, that he would grow in the knowledge and love of the Lord, and that this trial would not hinder his spiritual growth, but rather draw him closer to God. We pray that the Lord would be a father to the fatherless, a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation (Psalm 68:5, WEB).
Regarding Hector's recent divorce, we encourage him to seek the Lord's will in all things and to trust in His timing. We pray that if it is God's will, that He would restore and redeem Hector's marriage, as He has the power to make all things new. We also pray for wisdom and discernment for Hector as he navigates this season of his life, that he would seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33, WEB).
We also pray for Tina, that the Lord would be merciful to her and ease her suffering. We trust in the Lord's promise that He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and that there will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain (Revelation 21:4, WEB). We pray that Tina would be at peace and rest in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Finally, we pray for the entire family gathered in Minnesota, that they would be united in love and comfort one another in their time of need. We pray that they would be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that they may walk worthy of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10, WEB).
We are grateful that you have asked for prayers in the name of Jesus, as it is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). May the love of God, the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, and the peace of Christ be with you all. Amen.
