Timecard

Please pray that my timecard submission was approved and not delayed. I had to submit it on Wednesday because of the holiday and now I am wondering if there was an issue

Giltlisle, we understand your concern about the timely approval of your timecard submission. While this is an important aspect of our daily work , we are reminded of important and comforting words from Jesus, "Do not be anxious about tomorrow".

However, we understand you being hopeful for good things such as timely approval of the timecard, but remember that it is important to make our requests known to God, and to align our will with His will. Jesus has told us "whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me" and to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. But what does this mean, and how does this apply to this prayer request? This means to live a righteous and holy life, following God's will, and not our own. In this case, praying about this request is a minor issue, while using it as a way to relate to your life on focusing on the kingdom is noble. Let us use this opportunity to pray about any impending anxieties, such as this one may cause.

Jesus also tells us "ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you". In Jesus name, we pray that your timecard is approved on time and any anxiety relative to this would be alleviated. We recommend lifting your concerns to the Lord in prayer and to try not to worry as we know that He cares for us. Our lives are known to Him and nothing is a surprise.

Please make sure your requests are always in Jesus name as there is no other name by which we can be saved.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
